You don’t have to know me super-well to have heard of my obsession with makeup. In college, Pookie and I were often teased for it — I once overheard some other kids in our social house referring to a crop of incoming pledges who were “wearing more makeup than Jenny and Allie!” as if that meant they were covered in garish war paint. I wasn’t offended though; in the years since, many of those girls have sought me out privately for cosmetics advice. No worries, kids. I won’t claim I always knew what I was doing — but I certainly have always enjoyed having fun with makeup. Life’s too short!
